Material Information:

• Particle Board: A composite wood material made from small wood particles, typically pine or fir, bonded together under high pressure and temperature using resins. It is widely used in furniture manufacturing, interior surfaces, and structural applications. Made from recycled materials, it resists bending, abrasion, and other physical stresses.

• Melamine (LPB - Low Pressure Melamine): A synthetic material widely used for surface treatment of particle boards in furniture and surface construction due to its durability and ease of maintenance. It is applied to substrates such as MDF (Medium-Density Fiberboard) or OSB (Oriented Strand Board) to produce durable surfaces.

• Metal: Metal is widely used in furniture construction, offering several advantages over other materials. It is extremely resistant to wear, ideal for furniture intended for daily use in demanding environments. It retains its shape and structure perfectly, ensuring stability and longevity. In addition to the properties mentioned above, metal can also have other characteristics, such as antimicrobial action (copper) or superconductivity (molybdenum).

Maintenance Instructions:

• Particle Board: To clean particle board, use a soft cloth slightly dampened with water and a mild detergent. Avoid excessive use of water and keep the surface dry after cleaning.

• Melamine (LPB): To remove stains from the surface, use a soft cloth with warm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Melamine is sensitive to moisture; therefore, it is important to protect it from water.

• Metal: For any indoor metal, it is recommended to dust or wipe regularly with a damp cloth. However, for outdoor metal furniture, follow these steps:

  • For prolonged protection, apply a protective cream readily available in stores to your metal furniture.
  • If your furniture is treated and painted with a powder coating, it is very durable and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
  • If your metal furniture is not powder-coated, be more cautious and keep it as dry as possible; you can use special covers and, if possible, store your items indoors during the winter.
  • If you notice rust, remove it with white spirit and then apply an anti-rust varnish before repainting the surface with oxidation-resistant paint.
